FURIES MC - FAQ #4
CAN I RIDE WITH YOU IF I HAVE NEVER RIDDEN IN A GROUP BEFORE?
Of course you can and we won't bite!
The first time you show up for a ride with us, we will ask you if you have any group riding experience. If not, we will certainly go over the basic things you need to know to have a great ride. Even if you have ridden with others before, we want to make sure that everyone on our ride is on the same page and knows how our ride will work. We want everyone to feel comfortable and our goal is a safe, fun ride, and we are going to do our best to make that happen.
In addition, new people to a ride will be placed in the middle of the group with a member of the Furies in front and in back. We can offer guidance when needed and a friendly smile during the ride.
We will review the common hand signals which are used on a ride so everyone will be able to communicate with each other. It is the responsibility of each one of us to learn these signals so we all act as a finely tuned machine.
With so much on the road that is unexpected, it is a beautiful thing to be part of a group where everyone is in sync and can at least depend on what to expect from each other. Very cool!
